Confucianism was the most important single political philosophy developed in classical China -Penguin Classics Confucius

Confucianism, also known as Ruism, is a philosophical system, developed from the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius (551–479 BCE). It deeply influences spiritual and political lifestyles in China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. The main belief of Confucianism is learning to be human. According to Confucius, each person should act upon these social matters; family, community, state, and kingdom, to keep order and unity. They follow concepts of Jen.

Confucians made ancestor worship the main point of their moral and spiritual lifestyle. Ancestor worship is a ritual practice believes that deceased family members have a continued existence. The“Four Books and Five Classics” became the guideline of behavior for followers of Confucianism.
