Colossus of Rhodes

The Colossus of Rhodes was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the most ambitious and tallest statue of the Hellenistic period. It was man-made for the victory over the ruler Cyprus in 305 B.C. Then it was destroyed by a earthquake. The Ruins are on the picture on the side. -->

The parts are seperated from each other. The foot remeines on the platform where It fell.
