NATO

Warsaw Pact

1955: The Warsaw Pact was founded by Poland. Its members included East Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Czechslovakia, and etc. Their goal was to support each other in case any of the members were attacked they would defend each other from the attacker.

The NATO(North Atlantic treaty organization) included Greeenland, Iceland, West Germany, Canada, and the U.S. Their goal was if the USSR lauched an attack against any of the NATO members, it would be treated as if it were an attack against all its members. The founder of this orgzaniztion were the countries, Canada and U.S.

SEATO

The SEATO(Southeast Asia Treaty Organization) was made up of countries in Southeast Asia.They wanted to team up to create a defense against other countires and support each other.

United Nations:

The United Nations was an international organization designed to keep the peace.
