Club drugs; These are synthetic drugs that are made to imitate the effects of other drugs. Designer drugs can be several hundred times stronger than the drugs they are meant to imitate. They are found at concerts, dance clubs, and drug parties.

LSD (Acid) - Lysergic acid diethylamide, it causes distorted perceptions of sound and color. The user may experience euphoria, panic, terror, or deep depression. User also may not be able to control their behavior. They could hurt themselves and or others. Flashbacks can and will occur after taking this drug.

Becoming Drug-FreeThe following steps can guide you in helping a friend and or a family member become drug-free:- Identify sources of helps in your community.- Talk to the person when he or she is sober. Express your concern for him/her. Don't be judgmental- Listen to them respond. Be prepared for anger and denial.- Offer to go with your friend or family member to a counselor or support group.

Stimulants- Is when your central nervous system is speeds up. Most drugs are are depressants or hallucinations, but because they are synthetic drugs they could be mix with other drugs to cause your nervous system to speed up.

GHB (Gamma hydroxybutyric acid)- Is also a central nervous system depressant. It can be found in a clear liquid, a white powder, or in a tablet and capsule form. It can also be used as a date-rape drug.

Under the influence of drugs (warning signs)- Lies about the drugs he or she is using, constantly talks about drugs.- Stops participating in activities that once were important to him or her.- Changes in their eating or sleeping habits or rapid weight loss.- Takes unnecessary risks or participates in unsafe behavior.- Getting in trouble in school or people with authority.- Seems withdrawn, tired, and cares less about their appearance.-Has red-rimmed eyes and runny nose not related to cold or any allergies.

Rohypnol (Date-Rape)~ It is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless drug that can be given to anyone without him/her knowing. The victim may be at risk of rape or sexual assault. Unplanned pregnancies and exposure to HIV and STDs can result. It's illegal to give someone without their knowledge.

Depressants- Is when it slows down your central nervous system. Some of the clubs drugs will do this to your body while others are stimulants.
