1. All quadrilaterals have 4 sides and 4 angles.2. Squares and rectangles are the only quadrilaterals that have 4 right angles.3. Trapezoids don't have any right angles but they do have 1 pair of parallel sides.4. The only difference between a rhombus and a parallelogram is that a parallelogram has 2 sets of congruent sides and a rhombus has 4 sides that are congruent.

Many quadrilaterals have similar characteristics. Study the picutre above. Do you see how the shapes are related?1. A squares is also classified as rectangle, rhombus, and parallelogram.2. A rhombus is also classified as a parallelogram.3. A trapezoid does not share characteristics with a parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, or square outside of having 4 sides and angles
