**Christianity was founded by God and was introduced by Jesus.**It is founded on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and those who follow him are called "Christians."**Christianity began in Jerusalem, in what is now modern day Israel.**Most people didn't want to start believing in a new religion so some pushed it away.

**Christianity today is mostly practiced in North America, South America, Europe, and Russia.**As of 2010, Christianity is the worlds largest religion, taking up 31% of the world population.**Christianity has been put to the test lately with the new laws for same sex marriage.
