A Dorsal Hollow Nerve Chord is a characteristic of a Chordate.This structure is a nerve chord that forms the spinal chord and brain.

All Chordates have a Notochord. A Notochord is a long, semirigid, rodlike structure located between the digestive system and the dorsal hollow nerve chord.

Chordates also have a pharyngeal pouch. These "pouches" are paired openings located in the pharynx behind the mouth of a chordate embryo.

Chordates have a postanal tail.A postanal tail is simply a tail that extends beyond the anus.
