Cholecystitis
Inflammation of the gallbladder. The flow of bile is blocked, causing it to build up; swelling and infection occurs.
Caused by a gallstone stuck in the cystic duct.
Symptoms include:1. Nausea/vomiting2. Tenderness in right abdomen3. Fever4. Pain that worsens when you breathe heavily5. Pain for 6+ hours after mealsTreatment (Depending on symptoms and general health):1. No symptoms= no treatment, 2. Mild= Bowel Rest, antibiotics given through a vein, pain medicine,3.Surgery to remove
