Chinese Numeracy

The Chinese Numeration System has characters that correspond from numbers 0-9. Unlike the number system that we are used to, the Chinese system also has special characters to represent 10, 100, 1000 and so forth.

There are also names for the numbers just like how we have names for our number system, but the Chinese one is a bit more complicated.

Now the thing is that you think learning to say Chinese Numerals his hard, but writing it in it's form is a bit harder.

Now actually writing the number

yi=1, er=2, san=3, si=4, wu=5, liu=6, qi=7, ba=8, jiu=9 and shi=10

I LOVE MA A ATHS, NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NUMERACY!

These numbers a very different to ours and it is because of the different culture that china has, for example: Australia is English, Sri Lanka is Sinhalese, Italy is Italian and China is Chinese or maybe Mandarin
