China was Imperialized for about 300 years.It achieved it's independence in 1949.China is now run by a communist party but called: "People's Republic of China."

Nanjing means the "southern capital" of China. Historically known as Nanking, it's the capital city of Jiangsu Province in the People's Republic of China. Nanjing also stands as an important commerce and trade in Eastern China.
