Chinese Flag

The symbols on the Chinese flag have many important meanings. The red of the flag represents the communist revolution. The large star represents communism. The four smaller stars represent the social classes of the people.

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China was built over 2,000 years ago. It is the longest structure ever built. It is about 4,000 miles long and was built entirely by hand!

Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival. It is a festival that lasts for 15 days and celebrates the coming of warm weather. The Chinese celebrate this festival with a parade, fireworks, and food. Special decorations and the Dragon Dance are part of this day.

The Giant Panda

The only place that the Giant Panda can be found in the wild is in China. They are a very endangered species. Only about 1,000 are living in the wild today. Giant Pandas mainly eat bamboo. They eat about 20-40 pounds of it each day.
