Composed of Cells- Chimpanzees have eukaryotic cells; their cells are animal cells.
~Pan troglodytes~Chimpanzees
Reproduction- Chimpanzees are usually able to reproduce between the age of 12-13. Their pregnancy lasts for about 8 to 9 months.
Evolve and Adapt- Chimpanzees have hands and feet like humans. They can climb trees, and if they are taught with knowledge , they can act like one of us to. Their five fingers also help them open their food.
Respond to Stimuli- When threaten, the alpha male would warn the other males.
Require Energy- Chimpanzees are considered Heterotrophs; due to eating plants and some insects. They are also considered omnivores.

Maintains Homeostasis- The average body temperature of a Chimpanzee is 37.2 degrees celcius. (98.96 degrees farenheit)
Grow and Develop- For the first 5 months of the baby chimpanzee, it is carried everywhere by its mother by clinging tightly to her fur. The baby is dependent on its mother for at least two years, sometimes still riding on her back for periods at 4 years old.
