Chicken Experiment

On hatching day, the chicken will poke it's beak through the air cell. This is called pipping. Then, the chicken will "zip" along the remainder of the air cell to free themselves of the shell!

The embryo does not start growing until the egg is layed on by the hen or put into an incubator.

A chicken egg stays in the incubator for 21 days before it hatches!

I cook for how long?

Pipping & Zipping

Chicken Fun

Let's get it started!

While in the incubator, the egg must stay between 99 & 100 degrees.

It's hot in here!
