The Cheyenne began with the myth of the Maheo, also kown to be their "Great Spirit"They first lived in earhten lodges and birchbark wigwams, but when they became Nomadic they lived in tipis

Women wore long deerskin dress and men wore breechcloths with leather leggingsCrafts - quill embroidery, native beading, pipestone carving, and pottery

Their closest allies were the Arapaho. They fought with different tribes, but also allied with them. They traded with tribes of the Great Plains

Tipis are the homes that the Cheyenne used when the became Nomadic
