A super food is food with high nutrition density.

Cherries were first grown in Asia, and usually strive in cooler climates.

There are twelve different types of cherries, all containing vitamin A and vitamin C.

Cherries are best when bought in season, and one should consume atleast 2 cups of fruit a day.

Cherries fit in the fruit group.

Cherry Pie Recipe: 1) Two cups of sweet cherries2) One tbsp unsalted butter3) One cup all purpose flour4) 1/4 tsp cinnamon5) Dash of salt6) Five eggs7) Five tbsp sugar8) One cup milk9) Icing sugar, for dusting10) Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C)11) Pit cherries and set aside.12) Rub a pie dish or round baking dish with the butter.13) Sift flour with cinnamon and salt into a medium bowl. Add eggs, sugar and milk; whisk together (will be the consistency of crêpe batter). Pour into baking dish and sprinkle cherries over. Bake for 30 minutes, until set.14) Dust generously with icing sugar and serve immediately.
