CHEMISTRY

Explanation:The above reaction represents an acid base reaction:Baking powder is sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and some other stuff, vinegar is mainly acetic acid (CH3COOH) in water.

Na+HCO3 + CH3COOH = CH3COONa + CO2 + H2O

The acetic acid neutralizes the basic carbonate. Note that carbon dioxide is given off in the process, creating the fizzes, pops and crackles.

SO COOL

BOOM

WHAT WE ARE DOING, WE ARE MIXING BOTHVINEGAR (ACID) & BAKING SODA (CARBONATE)

baking soda vinegar salt carbon water dioxide

we are making use of the general equation when:

ACIDS + CARBONATES = SALT + CABON DIOXIDE + WATER

showcasing a ''SHAWN ADRIAN, KEVIN JOEL, SHAY-NE & JOSHUA LEE'' glog

the eruption is form by the sudden release of carbon dioxide produce from the reaction.

NOTE: no creature or human is harm during the making of this film

remember kids, don't try this at home

what apparatus are used:-vinegar-baking soda-small bottle-larger container-MANPOWER
