Where do they work?Chemical Engineers are used everywhere in out daily lives. They are employed in pharmacies, food, chemicasls, energy, manufacturing, state enviromental health, and safety agencies.
Making in DifferenceChemical Engineer's main goal is for our Earth to be cleaner and healthier for us to live on. This can include cleaning up toxic waste spills to creating substainable biofueals (Fuel we can actually use that don't pollute the earth).
Did you know? Many [great] products in our world are because of chemical engineers. Some of these include materials made from recyclables, and hypoallergenic makeup.
Everyday Example
Have you ever enjoyed a nice Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks? Congratulations, you've just witnessed chemical engineering first-hand. That's right, the Caramel Frappaccino was invented by a chemical engineer, Michelle Gass. The Caramel Frap is now a 2 billion dollar drink!! Michelle has also introduced other drinks like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Tazo Tea. Of course, these are only a few, and she is still producing more. So see, chemical engineers are even involved in simple, everyday things, like starbucks!
