Nuclear Energy

Nuclear energy is useful. It is used in the propellers of a ship. Nuclear energy is created when the heat of a nuclear reactor produces steam. The use of nuclear energy has decreased over the years.

Radiation is dangerous. You can only see it with special sensors. These sensors are called REDs. Radiation is created when a neutron is added to a uranium atom and it splits in two, creating radiation. Nuclear bombs release radiation which hangs around and kills people.

I chose nuclear energy because the military uses nuclear things. Two of the things are nuc bombs and subs.
