Charles Darwin was born on Febuary 12,1809 and died on April 19th,1882 at age seventy-three.
Life Span/Birthplace:
He was born in Shrewsburg, England where he attended school until 1825.
Darwin wanted to be a doctor like his father, but he couldnt stand the sight of blood!
Charles Darwin may be just another scientist among them all but he contributed the basis of evolution, which we still go by today. In studying evolution he found that it does occur, but his ideas about it really started to form when he came up with the theory called natural selection. In his studies he took extict bones and compared them to existing ones from seperate islands to back his theory up.
