Birthplace:Portsmouth, England on Februray 7, 1812.Died of a stroke on June 9, 1870 in Kent, England.

Some of the novel's that Charles wrote are "A tell of two cities.", "A Chirstmas Carol." Charles was writing a book call "The mystery of Edwin Drood" , but during this time Dickens died of a stroke.

In the year of 1816, Charles and his siblings moved to Chatham, Kent where him and his sibligns were able to rome the country side. In 1824 Charles's father John was sent to prision for a prison debt, when Charles was only 12 years old.

Charles Dickens wrote hundreds of short stories. He also wrote plays, thousands of letters, edited twojournals, and wrote twenty novels
