A polygon is a plane shape with straight sides. All sides are connected to form vertices.Note: A circle is not a polygon because it has a curved side.

The name of a polygon is determined by the number of sides. A polygon must have at least three sides.

You can find the sum of the interior angles of a polygon by using the formula 180(n-2), where n represents the number of sides.

The Pentagon is the headquarters of the US Department of Defense.

If all angles are equal and all sides are equal, then it is a regular polygon; otherwise it is irregular.
