Chapparral
The chapparral biome recieves very little rainfall each year. Its winter temperature is an average of 10°C and summers average temperature is up to 40°C.
Since the soil in this biome is dry plants are specially adapted to thrive by having hard, thin, needle-like leaves to reduce water loss. Some even have hair on their leaves to collect water from the air.
Most people would refer to this biome as the Wild West. It includes flat plains, rocky hills, and mountain ranges making it the perfect Western scene. Also since it is very hot and dry droughts and fires are common throughout the region.
