The 1910's

At the beginning of the decade the population in the United States was 92,228,496.At the end of the decade the population increased to 106,021,537.

In the beggining of the decade, the 3 most populated cities were New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia and they stayed this way throughout the remainder of the decade

In 1910 in the US the population center was Monroe County, Indiana in the city of Bloomington. At the end of the decade it was Owen County, Indiana

The US entered World War 1 in 1917 along with its allies, Britain, France, and Russia. More than 2 million US soilders fought in France. A huge amout of Americans were not happy about America entering the war because they thought they should just stay out of it.

Did you know that there were only 46 states in 1910?

The first Oreo was introduced to the American public in 1912. The design of the first oreo isnt very different from the ones we see today.

The Arithmetic densitty in 1910 was 26 sqaure miles. At the end of the decade it was 29.9 square miles
