Cell Division

Steps in InterfaceG1 Phase- First stage in growth after cell division. The cell matures and making more cytoplasm and organelles. The cell increases in size and prepares to copy the DNA.S Phase- This is the synthesis stage where the DNA is coppies.G2 Phase- The second stage after DNA has been coppied cell structures needed for division are made, and organelles and proteins are synthesized.

Cell Division

Steps in MitosisProface- DNA coils tightly, chromosomes become visible, nuclear membrane dissapears, nucleolus disappears, centrioles migrate to poles, spindle fibers begin to form.Metaphase- Spindle fibers from centrioles attach to each chromosome. The cell preparing seperate its chromosomes, which move to the middle of the cell. Anaphase- The chromosomes have seperated and are moving toward the poles.Telophase- Seperation of chromosomes completed, cell plate forms, cleavage furrow forms, nucleus and nucleolus reform chromosomes uncoil.
