Mitosis- Cell Division
Annie Gibson
Time Line
Prophase- chromatin condenses into double rod-shaped structures called chromosomes in which the chromatin becomes visible.
Interphase- Phase in the cell cycle where the cell spend most of its time in preparation for cell division
Interphase
Prophase
Metaphase
Anaphase
Telophase
Metaphase- condensed and highly coiled chromosomes align in the equator of the cell before being separated into each of the two daughter cells.
Anaphase- chromosomes are split and the sister chromatids move to opposite poles of the cell.
Telophase- the effects of prophase and prometaphase are reversed.
