I came to Canada this February and, thanks to this section of the law, I met with no barriers on my way here. I can also travel to anywhere else including Canada. Furthermore, I will be able to go to universities in Toronto.

In the future, I can buy a house in Canada and live wherever I want to live if I become a Canadian citizen which is also what I wished to.

...can also move to and take up residence and pursue the gaining of livelihood in any province.

Every citizen of Canada has the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada.

Everyone has the freedom of conscience and religion, the freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication, and the freedom of peaceful assembly or association.

As far as I am concerned, this is the law that assures me to keep my traditions from my country. I can even find what I was used to eat in the market. I'm not religious but my roommate from Turkey is Muslim and he is free to pray in the morning. In addition, I can have my own opinion in this country instead of compromise to what some says.

Equality Right

Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin.

I've seen a movie called The Freedom Writers, those students were from a various of ethnicities. That was in the 1990s in the USA, and they felt obvious discrimination from the white. Thanks to this right, my life in Canada has become remarkably comfortable. When I am walking on the street or shopping in the supermarket, I don't feel I'm excluded or looked down. I feel safe and comfortable living in Canada.
