Coolidge is considered the most honorable and conservative president in U.S. history. When president Harding passed away Calvin Coolidge became president. Coolidge is renowned for being a loving family man. Coolidge was very popular for always staying calm and unbroken. The public voted for Coolidge because of his morals and the great economic stability he brought to the country. Coolidge was the first president to give a public address on the radio. He preferred a hands-off leadership, which is why he chose the best cabinet he could muster. Coolidge condemned anti-evolutionists and the Ku Klux Klan because he knew change was good and change needs to happen, which includes all the benefits and problems of change; which must be embraced with the most logical and moral reasoning. Coolidge set up a precedent for all future presidents, which was to keep calm and choose a cabinet of thinkers not “yes men.”

Coolidge cut domestic taxes through the Revenue Acts of 1924, 1926, and 1928.He forged new alliances between the government and growing industry businesses through the Secretary of Commerce, Herbert Hoover. He created a policy of keeping the government out of the way of big business and generally disdained regulation.Coolidge brought the ecnomically growing "Roaring Twenties" to the United States.
