Food Chain

Shared ResourcesThe emperor penguin shares the same beaches as elephant seals. The elephant seals use it for sleeping, while the emporer penguin uses it for shelter. Another animal the emporer penguin shares a resource with is the beluga whale the beluga whale share krill with the emperor penguin. They both use it for food.

Ecosystems The emperor penguin can be found in the tundra of Antartica. They live with polar bears, snow owls, leopard seals and killer whales. Some of their preys are fish, squid, krill, and crustaceans. Some predators that the emperor penguin need to look out for are leopard seals and killer whales.
