How to deal with bullyingIf you are being bullied the best thing to do is tell an adult you can trust, It is not tattle tailing. Adults have the ability to put an end to bullying Even if you think you've solved the problem on your own tell an adult anyway, in case it occurs again which happens very often. A teacher, principal, parent, someone from your family, are all people you could tell. When faced with a bully Do the following steps, Avoid bashing yourself, or fighting back with the bully. Stand proud, Make eye contact, In a calm voice, tell the person who is bullying you to stop, Walk away. What to do when you see someone being bullied. Put yourself in their situation, Offer the victim help, Tell the person that is doing the bullying to stop, Give the victim something to smile about, Invite them out or tell them something you like about them.

Bullying is a serious Moral issue that hurts people emotionally, and anything that hurts people in anyway is morally wrong. This is an important moral issue to address because it affects all students despite their age group, gender, or cultural backgroud, It is a very common act in many school. Making threats, rumors, attacking a person physically or verbally are all forms of bullying,The behavior is often repeated andeventually becomes a habit, A bully often tends to be a person with problems of their own striving for attention or power, As soon as bullying is started if nothing is done to stop it, It will continue to get worse and more cruel over time. Bullying can sometimes affect a person long-term depending on how cruel the acts are.

Effects of bullyingBullying causes people to be upset, It will make the victim feel lonely, scared, and unhappy with their life. Bullying can cause the victim to feel like they are worthless, something is wrong with them, They were a mistake, Make them depressed and leave them feeling unsafe no matter who their with or where they are, It can even make them sick to their stomachs. Not only does bullying effect the victim It also effects the family members of this child, The parents may feel the child is unhappy due to something theyhave done, Or may feel they dont give their child enough attention. Bullying is usually seen as only a problem for younger people but it cn also effect a person long-term,Which may include:

Avoiding family and school activitesPreffering to be left aloneCausing the victim to be very timid and shy Either sleeping too much or having sleeping problemsLots of Nightmares Anxiety and panick attacks often

Facts on bullying- Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying every year.- About one in 10 children have bullied others. - 25% of children in grades four to six have been bullied.- Studies show bullying occurs once every 7 minutes on a playground, and once every 25 minutes in a classroom.- 1 in 4 teachers see nothing wrong with bullying and will only get involved 4% of the time.

Why is bullying such a moral issue today? Not only is it because the people who are starting the bullying but also By watching an act of bullying with the thought of, "i was going to step in if it kept going." it may be too late if you dont step right in.

Help!To get proper help you must report the incident, Get support from supportive, caring people that are around you, Keep your self safe, Reporting the incident to an adult is not tattling, It is keeping yourself safe so the situation doesnt occur over-and-over.
