Brutus & Cassius for the fix!
Brutus was a conservative politician and wanted to strengthen the Senate of Rome. He was appointed a position in financing which all rising politicians of Rome had to occupy for a certain amount of time. In addition, Brutus was a military commander in Cilicia and Macedonia which gave him many leadership skills. After the war between Pompey and Caesar, he was appointed the governer of Cisapline Gaul by Caesar himself.
Brutus was the son of Marcus Junius Brutus and Servilia Caepionis. Servilia would later become Caesar's mistress. Quintus Servilius Caepio, an uncle of Brutus, adopted him. Another uncle, Cato the Younger, raised Brutus.
Brutus has a diverse variety of job experience that makes him qualified for this position. He started out as a loyal soldier for our fine country we call Rome. He later worked his way up to eventually becoming a strong military leader. This then led him to becoming a prominent public figure. He later became a noble and honest conspirator to better the good of Rome.
