Bruiser

Bruiser By: Neal Shusterman

eThe book is about a boy nicknamed the "Bruiser". He earned that nickname from the way he looks and his antisocial behavior. Brewster often gets unexplained bruises that appear whenever he cares of loves someone. That means if that person gets hurt then he gets the pain. He ends up dating a girl named Bronte. Much to the demise of her brother whp considers him a freak of nature. After a while his secret gets out and they have to try their best to help him before it gets to late.

Summary

Theme

The whole point of the book is that the ones you really care about are the ones that can hurt you the most. Also that love is just as strong as pain

Characters

Brewster, Bronte, Tennyson, Tennysons Mom, Tennysons Father, Cody.

The Pool, Brontes Home, Cody and Brewsters Home, School, Mountain Trail, Lacrosse field, Hospital

The book is very grabbing and interesting. It also brings up serious topics and ideas through the POV of 4 main characters. Which makes the book have more of an open idea. I also enjoyed reading it, so yeah I would recommend it.
