Small Intestine

Your small intestine is a narrow twisty tube. Unlike your large intestine which is much thicker and shorter than your small intestine.

Your small intestine is roughly 6.5 metres long and 2 to 4 cm thick.Your small intestine has a thin layer of fat wrapped around it.

This is your small intestine.

Your small intestine is the longest organ in the digestive system.Did you know that your small intestine is actually longer than your large intestine!!

Your small intestine is connected to your stomach and your large intestine.Fats, proteins and carbohydrates contained in the food you eat is completed within the small intestine .
