Hydropower is a renewable resource and depends on the water cycle. It produces most electricity in the U.S.A. The biggest hydroelectric power plants are found in Washington, Oregon, and California. Benefits of hydropower include clean, reliable, flexible, and secure.

I chose water energy or hydropower because it is an important resource and we use it in our everyday lives. Hydropower is powered by water and usually produced in large factories. Hydropower means hydroelectric power and comes from water.

Hydropower is said to be the oldest type of energy. It means water in greek and latin. In the future I think hydropower will still remain a important resource and will not run out.
