What is boxing? :Boxing is a sport that is played all around the world. boxing involves punching kicking and quick reflexses. Boxing is not all about fighting a partner it is also a great sport to gain muscles and health

How to box :First you put your left foot forward and right foot not so far back. Next put your arms up against your face and then put your jabbing hand forward and knock out hand back. The jabbing hand is for small punches and the knock out hand is for throwing punches at the head that could knock out your opponent. While throwing a punch use your shoulder to protect your face.

The benefits of boxing : The benefits of boxing are all about you mental fitness and body fitness. Boxing is one of the best sports to boost your cardiovascular system and help with your heart by pumping more blood around the body to get the muscles working. It also makes your muscles in your arms and legs stronger

Equipment :You will need a pair of boxing gloves, shin guards, ring or mats, a partner or punching bag, you will also need a mouth guard or helmet (optional

The injuries boxing can cause :Almost certainly. Research has long shown that head trauma— something no boxer cannot avoid over the years—puts one at risk for permanent brain damage. Brain cells generally cannot repair themselves (as can cells elsewhere in the body), so damaged neurons stay damaged. The American Medical Association and British Medical Association have both called for a ban on boxing, citing statistics of brain damage in professional boxers

Diet :Olympic boxers have a very strict diet of protien carbohydrates and fat. Protein is to help for after the fight when you might have sore or hurt muscles it helps by reparing the muscles and helps muscle growth. Carbohydrates is to boost your energy for the 12, 3 minute rounds. Carbohydrates release energy at a slow rate which is quiet usefull. Finnaly fat is to make sure the body is functioning right
