Bolivia

The population pyramid that I have chosen shows that the population in 2011. Since it is very fat at the bottom that means there was a baby boom during those years. At the top it is very slim where either there weren't many babies born or they are all dead.

Population Pyramid

In the cartogram that I have chosen, it shows the new species discoveries in 2004- June 2007. Bolivia is a light orange color. If you look at the chart on the left side, that means that Bolivia has 20- 25 new species discovered during that time.

Two natural resources Bolivia has are soy bean, and tin. Tin is mined in potosi, and soy beans are grown in Santa Cruz. They use soybean for the poultry industry and tin was used in the international tin market until it crashed in 1985.

The aspect of culture I chose to use is Beliefs and Values. The most popular religioin in Bolivia is Carholicism. A belief Catholics have is in god. A tradition they have is praying to their god. They have certain prayers to say at different times in their life. I got my information from http://www.legionofmarytidewater.com/faith/believe.htm.

The population is 10.5 million in 2012.
