Blue Bell was first named Pigeontown.

I hope I don't get eaten!!!

Pigeon was one of the main things on the Inn's menu.

The Blue Bell Inn was built in 1743.

A Blue Bell hung on the Inn so that people who did not know how to read would know the name of the Inn.

In 1840, the name of the town changed to Blue Bell because the Inn was so important to the town's history.
