DAP Activities for Middle Childhood

The Bishop Museum offers virtual field trips for children in elementary school up to 8th grade. These field trips allow students to be doing activities hands on through handouts and supplies given to the classrooms to use during the field trip. They have a large range of Hawaii based activities for different subjects. Some of these subjects include; Culture, Science, and Planetarium.Through these field trips students are able to expand their knowledge of the Hawaiian culture while being able to utilize their social emotional learning by collaborating and communicating with one another. The bishop museum also allows for camps and sleepovers to be done at the site. Students are able to gain a full day and nights worth of activities to do and learn from.
