The Brain
Did you know that the brain is involved in functions like controlling heart rate, breathing, stress levels, hormones, balance, and motion?
The CEREBELLUM controls balance and movements. When you try to stand one leg, your brain plays a big role. The HYPOTHALAMUS is involved in the storage of memory. When you have Alzheimer's, there is typically a damage in this part of your brain. The CEREBRAL CORTEX control all of the critical thinking that we do. The surface area of the brain is increased due to the hills and "colliculi" in its shape.
