Benjamin was born

At 22 years old, Benjamin published his first paper, "Articles of Beliefs and Acts of Religion"In 1729, Benjamin wrote a paper on the need for paper money in the colonies.Not only was Benjamin a writer, but he was also appointed as the first Postmaster of Philadelphia.

In 1746, Benjamin began his first of many electrical experiments.In 1752, Benjamin Franklin conducted his famous kite experiment.

Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Josiah Franklin and Abiah Folger. Benjamin is one of ten children. Growing up, Benjamin fell in love with learning. Although he only attended school for 2 years, he went on to finish his education through reading and writing.At 11 years old, Benjamin created his first invention, a pair of fins to help him swim!

Benjamin was elected to the Continental Congress in 1775. Franklin assisted in editing the Declaration of Independence, which was signed in 1776

Benjamin died at the age of 84. He contributed to the founding of public schooling, the money system, religious institutions, the American government, and more-he will never be forgotten.
