Battle of Fort Beausejour

The war at Fort Beausejour was fought for the land between the Northumberland Strait and the Bay of Fundy. i would be a good trading post because it was between to large bodies of water that connected to the Atlantic Ocean.

Fort Beausejour

Renamed Fort Cumberland after British took ov but it was givven back to the French after the Treaty of Paris.

The French and Indian war started when the British and the French found the new world(America)and teamed the thought there was gold and riches when there was just mountains and many trees. They fought for the water ways the most because they were key for trading. Both countries want this new land for the raw material.
