Battle Of Bunker Hill
The battlefeild was located in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The Battle of Bunker Hill took place mostly on Breeds Hill. It is called the Battle of bunker hill because the army thought they were on bunker hill
The British wanted to keep Boston Harbor open so that the British ships can bring in supplies and troops
The Britsh commander, William Howe led three charges up Breeds Hill. The American troops fought back the first to charges. The Americans started to run out of ammunition and had to back down to the third charge. The british took over the hill. About 226 British were killed and 800 were wounded. The American troops did not suffer as much
