Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle is not bald. It has feathers on its tail and head. Bald Eagles were almost wiped out! They were hunted for protection of fishing grounds.

Eagles can fly 10,000 feet high. Americans are free to fly high in their education and follow their dreams!

Eagles eat mainly fish that they hunt for themselves. Americans are able to take care of themselves too!

The eagle represents freedom. He has unlimited freedom. The bald Eagle is the symbol of our nation because The Revolutionary War was loud and was in the monning. The noise woke up nearby nesting eagles and they started to fly around the fighting men. The eagles were calling for freedom. The Eagle became our national emblem in 1782.
