Aztecs

The crops they usually grew were maize, beans, squash, tomatoes, chillies, and colorful flowers.

Some of their inventions and achievements were ruling 6million people, having a good market; Tlatelolco, building chinampas, having aqueducts, and keeping nice gardens.

The Aztecs believed in many agfricultural gods and goddesses. Their main god was the god of the Sun and they held ceramonies in a temple called a teocalli.

The Aztecs originated from Tenochititlan, Mexico by Lake Texcoco. Their culture was very heavily based on farming.

Their writing style was called Nahuati.

Their jobs consisted of soldiers, doctors, priests, traders, farmers, hunters, fishermen, and engineers.

The Aztec empire was made up of city-states called altepetl. Each altepetl was ruled by a supreme leader and a supreme judge and administrator. The supreme leader of the capital city of Tenochtitlan served as the Emperor of the Aztec empire.
