Members of calpollies lived in the same neighbourhood, and went to worship at the same temples. In the calpollies there were merchants, farmers, and artisans.
In the calpollies, there is a captain, and a council. The calpollies keep their neighbourhood clean.
Aztec calpollies were units of organization of people in Aztec society. Each person had certain in their calpollies. Cities were divided into calpollies.
Calpollies controlled their own land. They grew crops, and farmed on their land.
The council assigned land and houses to its residents
Most calpollies were made up of people with the same jobs.
