The Athenian coin . the owl was Athena's pet it represent wisdom, knowledge and visionary.

On the Hill of Acropolis at Athens was the Parthenon chief temple of the Greek goddess Athena .

In the other side of the coin was the face of Athena with olive leaf on her head from the tree that represent her and that stands for peace. Athena's gift to Athens.

Athena daughter of Zeus, she was the goddess of war and handicraft . The Romans called her Minerva. She was the most courageous goddess of the Olympian Gods. She invented the Chariot, and the flute.She was most known as the patroness of spinning and weaving.

The seal represent the award that Athena received when she gave the city of Athen an Olive tree. The citizens proclaim Athena the winner, and name the city in her honor.
