Though Assyria was successful throughout the continent of Asia, this came to an abrupt end with the coming of Timurlane the Mongol. The crippling destruction created by Timurlane against the civilizations he encountered put to a permanent end to Assyria

Lasting Impact

Assyria was one of the first civilizations to create locks and keys, to create roads, and as well as create a sense of time, this has remained in modern culture for thousands of years.
