Video of How the Persians/Assyrains Built pontoon Bridges

In this video, we learned that the persians used some type of an ancor to keep the boats of the pontoon bridge steady.

One of the pontoon bridges that the Persians made was on the Aegean Sea, they used this sea to cross from Persia what is now known as Turkey to Greece.

Pontoon brdges are made from boats, compacted dirt, planks, stone on top, and an anchor to hold boats in place.
