-- High in healthy foods that keep you from getting hungry too often. (Ex: whole grains, beans, and veggies)--Low in fat and saturated fat.--High in fiber due to lots of veggies, whole grains, and rice.--Considered a "heart healthy" diet which means low cholesterol and low blood pressure and helps prevent heart disease.--Can prevent/control diabetes.--Price of foods are inexpensive because of the low amounts of red meat and poultry consumed. Also, vegetables, and fish can easily be obtained for free if you grow/catch them yourself. Rice and noodles are very cheap at stores.
Benefits
