Arnold Gessel

Arnold Gesellwas born June 21, 1880 and died May 29, 1961. Graduated from University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in 19043. He was an American psychologist, pedeatrition, and professor at Yale University. Gessel also wrote a serveral books and had a wife and two children.

Gesell's Maturational TheoryGesell was well known for his studis in child development. His Maturational theory began in 1925. His studies were mainly concerned with biological maturation and how its realated to development. Gessel's theory stated that all childresn go through simliar stages, they just go through them at their own rate.
