The videos explain how the respiratory system works throughout the body. They explain how the gases exchange in the body. The gas exchange takes place in the aveoli and aveolar sacks. The videos also explain that during inspiration atmospheric air fills the alveoli and then the gas exchange occurs during the alveolar and capillary epithelia. They also explains that it happens when the oxygen and carbon dioxide bind together. The videos explain to us the many ways humans and different creatures breathe. They help us understand that when we breathe in air our nose filters the air that goes into our bodies. It explains that after the air comes from the nose it goes through the larynx to the trachea, then branches down to the bronchi and then it goes into detail about the alveolar sacs and how air goes in and out of them.

This video goes through each structure in the respiratory system. It starts with the nose explaining to us that it helps filter air and that it is the only part that is used for oxygen to come in the body and go out the body. The nose then connects to the pharynx, or the throat, and then leads to the larynx, also known as the voice box. Air then travels down the trachea, known as the windpipe, and it connects the larynx to bronchi tubes. These tubes then split into secondaryt teirtiary tubes and the tertiary tubes lead to the lungs. Lungs are the main organ for breathing. In the lungs their are sacs and they are called alveoli, and this is where the gas exchange takes place.

This video in a weird way explains the different respiratory disorders. Asthma is a chronic obstruction of the air ways that is caused by inflammation in the airways. It cannot be cured but can be treated with oxygen and inhaled drugs. It causes one to have chest tightness, wheezing, and makes it hard for them to breathe. Lung cancer is caused by smoking and by abnormal cell growth. It can only be treated by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery. The flu is caused by many different bacterias. It causes runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, and coughing. It can only be treated by antiviral perscriptions. Common colds are also caused by different bacteria. It causes one to have head aches, sneezing, runny nose and can be treated by resting and drinking plenty of fluids.

The video talks about the changes in thoracic pressure of the thoracic cavity by using Boyle's Law. It shows that Boyle's Law states the pressure of the thoracic cavity is inversly porportional to its volume. At the same time the intercostal muscles and the diaphragm contracts it expands the thoracic cavity. It also explains that air will continue to enter the lungs until equilibrium is reached.
